Greetings to all new LUMASians!

Greetings, this is your Publicity Officer - Daniel, or "PulicyDan" - beginning his job of keeping the News Blog and the website relatively up-to-date.

First, let me welcome all the new members who signed up at the Freshers Fair - and any who will be signing up later on, should you see this - and I hope you enjoy your time with us. big grin

So with that done, let me begin:

You should all have recieved a flyer with information concerning our meetings times and places, and an e-mail from the President directing you to this website. With that in mind, I provide you with a map of the campus.

http://www.lancs.ac.uk/travel/images/campus.pdf

And don't forget, you can always ask people about the campus for directions. They are friendly people. No really.

With this map you should be able to find both the Chaplaincy Centre and Furness, which are our meeting places on Wednesday and Saturday respectively.

And don't worry, for the Taster Session this Saturday, your Publicity Officer shall stand in Furness Foyer and hold a sign to help direct people to LUMAS. ... And hopefully he won't make a fool of himself either. ... Though he probably will, since that is how he attracts attention to himself.

If you have any question, please don't hesitate to contact the LUMAS Exec by replying to the Presidential Letter.

Also, tell no one of the secret LUMAS mecha. No one! Not even yourself!

I don't believe I have much else to say at this point, besides "Welcome!", "enjoy your studies", "god damn students with your loans!" and "BLARGHARBLE!!!"

So on that note: BLARGHARBLE!!!

Your Publicity Officer and Modern Strange Cowboy, Daniel.

Welcome to the new LUMAS (Which is mostly the old LUMAS)

Greetings to all fellow LUMASians! Now, as some of you may or may not be aware, a few weeks back we had a our Elections, and a new Exec was elected. While the intention in an election (as far as I know) is to create a new Exec, this election mostly involved a reshuffling of the cabinet. Even PresiDan - yours truly - managed to maintain some modicum of power, becoming PublicyDan, and thus the maintainer of this website, the LUMAS Facebook page, and the writer of this none too humourous post you are reading, and probably many more to come. (In other words, I'm still in power, I'm just pulling the strings of my puppet President from the shadows, BWAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA- I hope Rob doesn't read that, lol I kid).

Anyway, in the next few days, expect The Exec page to be updated with the new Exec, and the Facebook page to actually be kept up-to-date. *GASP* That's right, despite no longer being a student at the University and likely looking for a job, I intend to keep things up-to-date, and not procrastinate, as I do on many other things *coughrevisioncough*

On that note, the new President, Rob Ferguson, is in charge as of Week 6, and will be choosing the anime we are watching from now on. At least on Wednesdays.

So without furthur ado, this is PublicyDan, maintaining.

Week 4 Meetings

Hi Diddly Ho, Mangarinos!

Greetings in the nude, dear LUMAS, as your secretary lumbers out of bed at midnight, ostensibly trying to train himself to get out of bed before Lunchtime, in order to bring you this, his LAST WEEKLY EMAIL EVER ZOMG. Hence the extra-disturbing imagery. Sadly your humble soon-to-be-ex Secretary is most likely going to sleep through this Wednesday's viewings due to the indignity of a 9:30 exam - what, were they expecting a student to operate on Human business hours? However, he will most likely be rudely awoken by Presidan's insane Squeeing over the long-awaited Hotel Paradiso (or the nearest Presidan gets in that Maximillian Pegasus way of his) so if you happen to have a hot cup of cocoa with you on Wednesday, be a sport and hand it over. You've seen how I get when I'm *not* cranky and sleep-deprived? Vis-a-vis my "it's turning into a neutron-star of shit" rant about Ergo Proxy last week? Be warned.

Rest assured, dear LUMAS, you will only have to put up with this temperamental disturbing crap from your secretary for another week... BEFORE A NEW WAVE OF TEMPERAMENTAL DISTURBING CRAP BEGINS, this time from your new president, complete with ludicrous schemes, punishment anime, and group activities with that unmistakeable whiff of forced labour.

Well enough random fascism, time for this Wednesday's Anime, and an update about Sunday:

Ristorante Paradiso

Nicoletta is a young woman who decides to go to Rome to see her mother who left her when she was a child. she plans to tell her mother`s lover(a resurant owner who will not marry a divorced woman)that her mother was once married. Nicoletta latter struggles to understand her feeling for Claudio(an older man) who works at the restaurant.

Rumbling Hearts

At first, Takayuki Narumi is befriended by Mitsuki Hayase only because Mitsuki's best friend, Haruka Suzumiya has a crush on him; however since then, Takayuki, his pal Shinji Taira, and Mitsuki have grown to be the best of friends. Then one day, Haruka confesses to Takayuki her love for him. Not wanting to hurt her feelings, Takayuki agrees to go out with her. After a few incidents, their relationship gets intimate, even while Takayuki and Mitsuki begin to realize their feelings for each other. But suddenly, when tragedy strikes, things are never the same for these four friends again.

With regards to Saturday, for obvious reasons we're not holding a Saturday meeting, but the room will still be booked, so feel free to bring along random anime to watch, just bear in mind that none of the exec, or possibly any other members, will be there. This would count as a LUNA week, but word on the grapevine is, they aren't going to be there either. Those that are going on the Expo trip, we'll be discussing the plan of where to go and how on Wednesday, so please turn up.

Well, since it's the last of the Weekly updates from me, as next week i'll be handing over to Rhiannon, while I desperately try and think of some Anime to show, i'd just like to take a quick ego-trip and say thank you for all the positive responses i've had to the emails over this past year - hearing people say that they enjoy my weekly bundles of bile and self-pity wrapped in humour, and hearing the future Secretary candidates pledging to keep up a standard that I myself set has brought a real cheer to my tweed-bound, tea-drinking hermit lifestyle. My heart may be blacker than a lump of coal hidden in Wesley Snipes' shadow (at night), but that doesn't mean I haven't enjoyed making you smile. And vomit.

With that, see you all on Wednesday!

Secretary Rob (had a good run).

***Incidentally, Secretary Rob is also very, very sorry about the whole "Greetings in the Nude" thing. He's wearing slippers, if that helps, though not necessarily on his feet.***

Week 4 Meetings (does anyone actually use this site?)

Hi Diddly Ho, mangarinos (boy is that catchphrase getting old)!

Welcome to the New Exec, same as the Old exec - seriously. For those of you who missed the sights, sounds and spoons of this year's AGM, our new exec lineup is as follows:

President: Rob Ferguson

Secretary: Rhiannon Laycock

Treasurer: Chris Dawson

Librarian: Stacey Prosser

Publicity: Dan Nix

Thought I was kidding all those times I said "LUMAS hates democracy"? Aside from the shock of seeing Stacey ritually devour the previous Librarian's brain and liver, the AGM basically consisted of the previous exec swapping chairs, including Dan, who kept true to his promise of retaining some power (even if only the role of posterboy). Plus a certain exec member opted instead of husting to present a speech on how he plans to destroy the colossal astral octopus at the centre of the world using a team of mercenaries in antique diving suits, but we shan't go into that now. If you'd like to know more, the other members of the exec are forcing me to transcribe the hour and a half of casette recordings of the entire proceedings, and assuming it doesn't turn my brain to mush, it'll go up on the website.

Take heart, gentle LUMASticator - at least come the week 5 handover, you'll finally have me out of your inbox. Anyway, onto this week's viewings.

Wednesday we are showing:

Valkyria Chronicle

When Imperial forces attack the small border town of Bruhl, Welkin Gunther, son of late General Belgen Gunther, is forced to fight for his life alongside Town Watch captain Alicia Melchiott. Along with Welkin's adopted sister Isara, the three escape to Gallia's capitol and subsequently join the country's militia forces. As members of the newly-formed Squad 7, they must work to repel the invading Imperial forces and discover the true purpose of the invasion itself.

Shangri-la

The story of a young woman fighting for her survival in a real "urban jungle." Only 18 years old, Kuniko Hojo finds herself at the heart of the battle for humanity's future when she discovers that the government which rules Atlas intends to continue marginalising the less-privileged masses outside the tower - by force, if necessary.

And on Saturday:

Pandora Hearts

Oz Bezarius, heir to one of the duke houses, has just turned fifteen. His life is rich and carefree, darkened only by the constant absence of his father. At his coming-of-age ceremony, however, everything changes. For no reason that he can discern, he's cast into the prison known as the "Abyss", only to be saved by a "chain" known as Alice, the bloodstained black rabbit. Why was he cast into Abyss, how does Alice factor into it all, and what does the organization known as "Pandora" want with him...

Ergo Proxy

In which the guy in the red pajamas spends 4 episodes watching "Hitman Reborn!" reruns, Rei-L blinds herself when someone swaps her eye-makeup for Hammerite car paint, and Iggy and Pino-chan team up to solve mysteries in Victorian England (worth it for Pino-chan in a Deerstalker).

2x2 ShinobudenShinobu is a naive ninja-in-training. In order to test her ninja abilites, she must steal the panties of all the high school girls. The first house she stops at is the abode of one Kaede Shiranui, who happens to catch Shinobu in the act. Kaeda is the voice of reason and the two girls become quick friends, despite a round yellow ball-thing who claims to be a ninja master and tries to get in the way of their friendship.

It occurs to your humble secretary that this email has struck a somewhat grim, cynical tone. Please don't cry, gentle reader - i'll be needing all your delicious sorrow for when I take over.

With that, see you all on Wednesday!

Secretary Rob (by no means reanimated the Librarian with a clockwork brain and wiped all her memories of something called "Supernatural". No sir-eee. Why would you think something silly like that?).

Week 3 Meetings (posted entirely and completely on time).

Hi... diddly... zzzzzzzzzzzzz... *snork*

WHATWHAT? Oh, sorry. Must have dozed off there for a second. You see, your humble secretary did a very stupid thing this weekend. He has been struggling for some time to get around his problem getting up in the mornings, and thought he had finally found a solution - get up THE NIGHT BEFORE, work all night and morning (his most productive time) and go to sleep after dinner. However, he misjudged what time he should go to sleep on this occasion, resulting in a mammoth 30-hour Sunday, before finally collapsing into bed for 3 hours this evening. He's up now, though, and now the bright lights have stopped flickering in the corners of his eyes, it's time for another LUMAS email update!

First up, elections - you know the drill by now, please turn up so we can meet quorum, let Dan know if you're running etc. Unfortunately the necessity of the AGM is that we only have time to show one anime this Wednesday (don't freak out, we got most of the important stuff done last time). But at least that anime is:

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (The new version)

Two brothers lose their mother to an incurable disease. With the power of "alchemy", they use taboo knowledge to resurrect her. The process fails, and as a toll for using this type of alchemy, the older brother, Edward Elric loses his left leg while the younger brother, Alphonse Elric loses his entire body. To save his brother, Edward sacrifices his right arm and is able to affix his brother's soul to a suit of armor. With the help of a family friend, Edward receives metal limbs - "automail" - to replace his lost ones. With that, Edward vows to search for the Philosopher's Stone to return the brothers to their original bodies, even if it means becoming a "State Alchemist", one who uses his/her alchemy for the military.

This Saturday it's business as usual. The new season showing will be:

Slap-up Party: Adrad Seki

Swordsman Baron travels the world of Arad to find a way to heal his demonic left arm. Accompanying him is Roxy, the ghost of a woman who unwillingly unleashed the evil that also caused Barons transformation. On their travel they get to know other fighters who accompany them and soon they call their group the "Party".

Plus, for this Saturday, we finally have details on what the Classic anime wil be, too!

Kare Kano: His and Her Circumstances

Yukino Miyazawa, the Queen of Vanity, is the 'perfect student' - smart, pretty, athletic and has an overall nice personality. What everyone in her school didn't know was that behind the perfect facade lies a different person. She is always the best in anything - but an obstacle comes her way. The obstacle's name is Souichirou Arima. Souichirou Arima is chosen as the representative of the freshmen, not Miyazawa. Thus, she strives hard to defeat him in all aspects. But a day comes when her most-hated enemy comes to find out her secret. From treating Arima as an enemy, friendship blossoms. Soon love comes. Kare Kano is a story that revolves all around the pangs and beauty of first love.

With that, see you all on Wednesday!Secre*zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*...

Week 2 Meeting (not posted late. No Sir-eee).

Posted by lumaslancaster at 02:14 PM on May 09, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Hi diddly ho, mangarinos! Your humble secretary apologises once again for being a little late with the email - there's revision, there's train journeys, there's reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt for the, like, 8th time (google it, buy it, read it. now).

So here it is, what we is showing on our meeting of Wednesday (no I don't know why I said it like that either):

Phantom~requiem for a phantom~

A spate of mafia assasinations occurs in America, the work of the mysterious organization named Inferno. "Phantom" is their most strongest and capable assassin, however a lone tourist witnesses Phantom's latest act of murder. He unwittingly exposes the top assassin's true identity, a young girl named Ein. Witnesses are usually killed, but the man is captured and taken to be brainwashed into "Zwei", Inferno's newest assassin, with no memory of who he is. From this point on, Zwei is drawn into a world of conspiracy, deceit and violence.

Sengoku Basara

In the age of the Warring Countries Japan was in chaos, as the country was not yet united but was divided up in several pars, all run by different feudal lords. The lords all wanted to conquer the country and alone rule over Japan, but that was not an easy task, though one man was quite close to succeeding, the lord of Owari, the Sixth heavenly Devil King, Oda Nobunaga. It was when Nobunaga was only one step from taking the whole country when a young general by the name of Date Masamune makes his presence known and made it clear that he wants Nobunaga's head, and might actually be able to get it, and with it, the whole of Japan.

Once again, however, I have no idea what our "Classic" anime will be this week - last time we were plesantly suprised by Trigun, but this week who knows.

Finally, just time fOH SHI-

==========ZONG HOT NEWS UPDATE==========

Don't forget folks, we're just one week away from the fabled AGM, and the election of an all-new exec. Well, mostly all new. Okay, maybe some positions will change, LUMAS nepotism being what it is. Know how to change that? Run for an Exec position! Let Dan know sometime this week that you're in the game, and during the meeting you can make your case for the job. Exept for president. That job..... ran away. Yeah.

==========ZOMG END OF HOT NEWS UPDATE==========

With that, see you all on Wednesday!

Week 1 Meeting

Hi Diddly Ho, Mangarinos and welcome to a whole new term of LUMAS!

First up, it's tiOH SHI-

==========ZOMG HOT NEWS UPDATE==========

For those of us who've ordered our T-Shirts, they are now ready to be collected on Wednesday.

=======ZOMG END OF HOT NEWS UPDATE======

...aaaaanyway, this Wednesday, we'll be showing:

Casshern Sins - After the murder of Luna, the robot society that rules the planet starts to rust and decay. Death and despair spread through the land like wildfire. The only one unaffected by what becomes known as "The Ruin" is Luna's assassin, Casshern. Unable to remember if he really triggered this capital sin against the entire mechanized civilization, Casshern embarks on a journey to unravel the mystery that connects him, Luna, and the plague.

Ga-Rei Zero - The Japanese Ministry of Defense has an anti-paranormal special forces group called the Paranormal Disaster Countermeasure Headquarters. They're the ones responsible to protect Japanese soil and its people from supernatural and paranormal events. However, things didn't go so well in one of their missions, which leads to intervention by the Ministry of Enviroment's Supernatural Disaster Countermeasures Division after the PDCH has sustained large numbers of casualties battling demons.

We shall also be doing another "Dan shows pictures of the new season stuff and tries to maintain his decorum as we bellow things at him" event, so remember to bring your bellows.

This Saturday, we shall be showing, as advertized, some new season stuff, some "Classic" *shudder* anime, and the winner of our continuation voting, Ergo Proxy. Boy just as well the all-consuming stress of 4 essays in 4 weeks stopped me from watching the LUMAS copy I borrowed over easter off Dan, eh? >_> And just for the record, the last email sent out wasn't a typo - if you'd voted for "Kannozuki no Miko Junjou Romantica", we'dve been watching them both AT THE SAME TIME MOTHERFUCKER.

Just in case you forgt, we're in.... you know what, sod it. You've had 20 fucking weeks of these emails already - if you're coming, you're coming, if you're not, you're not. With that, see you all on Wednesday!

Secretary Rob (is watching Fistful of Dollars for the first time ATM. Clint Eastwood is The Sex)

RETROSPECTIVE UPDATE OF *WRAR*!

In a (probably futile) effort to try and entice people to come along on Saturdays, here is what we have lined up for Saturday:

New Season Pick: *07-Ghost*Set in a gothic fantasy world, this is the story of Teito Klein, an orphaned slave who became the top military academy student. However, an unexpected turn of events left him pursued by the forces of the Barsburg Empire. Now an escaping convict, Teito's sheltered by the church and it?s law of sanctuary. Here, he discovered many mysteries surrounding himself, the church, and the Empire itself. The fact that he might be connected to a dethroned king and the mystical stone of god, 'The Eye of Mikhael' made him the target of the empire more than ever. Fortunately the church is under the mythical 7 Ghost protection. But who are the Ghosts really. Will Teito be free from the military's clutch, And what of his said mission to uncover the history. And who is the military's Chief-of-Staff Ayanami exactly. Teito's future seems to have spiraled into an unexpectedly perilous path.

Continuation Series: *Ergo Proxy*In a future where the world has been ravaged by a nuclear apocalyse, there exists salvation in a domed city named "Romdeau", where humans and their android servants, the autoreivs, live in. Under the implementation of complete management control, it is a paradise where feelings are literally discarded, and the governing council dictates the way of life the citizens should live. But this utopian landscape is soon broken by a series of mystifying murders. Real Mayar, a female inspector from the Citizen Information Bureau, along with her autoreiv partner Iggy, are tasked to solve the murder cases. She is soon attacked by a creature drawn to her which is neither human nor android, and learns about the mysterious phenomena called "Awakening", an event which draws her further into the case...and to the world beyond the limits of Romdeau.

Classic Series Pick: *Trigun*Vash the Stampede is a gunman on the run with a 60 billion double dollar bounty on his head which has made it difficult for him to go anywhere without being chased and shot at. Every town he ever visits ends up being destroyed because of his pursuers, but miraculously no one ever gets killed. Meryl and Milly are two insurance agents that have been sent to find Vash the Stampede and keep him under surveillance so no more damage is caused. Meryl, who leads the pair, refuses to believe that the man they have met can possibly be the legendary gunman. This spikey haired, gangly, young man is extremely friendly, a pacifist, hates blood and suicide, absolutely loves donuts, and is a dork and a crybaby (far from a notorious outlaw). But there is more to Vash and his past than meets the eye.

Vote or Die (In case anyone actually uses this site)

Hi diddly Ho, Mangarinos!

Well, it's the 13th of April, the deadline for continuation, and we've had precisely 5 emails. This is not a good thing - we need to know what you folks want to watch, so we can show it to you! Therefore, while the Presidan is off...somewhere (I heard clanking from the Simoun shed) i'm sneakily giving you another week to vote for what you want to see.

Once again, here's how it'll work:

We will be showing each saturday stuff from the *FRESH* *NEW* Season stuff, the Continuation anime voted for, and a classic series (Read: Old series).

Vote by replying to this email or just emailing to the LUMAS account your FIRST and SECOND choices for what we'll show. If the winner is a long series, we'll watch it all the way through term, if it's a short one we'll show that, then the next highest voted-for that we can fit in.

Here once again are the series you can vote for:

Samurai Champloo
Cowboy Bebop
Black Lagoon
Detroit Metal City
Ichigo Mashimaro
Pani Poni Dash
Kara no Kyoukai
Earl & Fairy
Absolute Boyfriend (Live Action)
Kannazuki no Miko

Junjou Romantica
Ergo Proxy
Nana
Paradise Kiss
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Mouryou no Hako
Kino's Journey (Kino's Travels)
Desert Punk
Jungle wa Itsume hare nochi Guu
Club to Death Angel Dokuro-chan

We've had votes for Ergo Proxy, Samurai Champloo, Ergo Proxy, Ichigo Mashimaro, Kara no Kyokai, Pani Poni Dash and Higurashi. I'm not telling you what's gotten more or the most, you'll just have to vote for what you wanna see. And Ichigo Mashimaro. You WILL vote for Ichigo Mashimaro. Yes you will.

With that, see you all in the new term, when we'll be showing... something. I really oughta get round to asking Dan about that.

toodles!

Hi diddly ho, Mangarinos!

Well, the end of the term has arrived, and soon you will have to leave us for another 4 weeks. But don't be sad, my firends, it's not the end *breaks into song* for love will never pass you byyyy, if you get all dolled up in a skyblue shirt, and a rainbow tieeeeeeeeeee*.

Okay Secretary, enough singing 50s songs. Think of something sad. Not getting to go home this holiday due to essays? Not sad enough. Catherine Hardwicke implying there'll be an anime adaptation of Twilight?

*Sob* th-th-th-that'll do it.

Anyway folks thereOH SHI-
==========
ZOMG HOT NEWS UPDATE
==========
This Wednesday (or if you're sticking around that long, Saturday) will be THE. LAST. CHANCE. for you to get your extra £7 in for your Expo Bus tickets - again apologies, but the ways of the Buses are strange and alien to one such as our President, who almost ended up buying us all ONE-way tickets. Dan is now the one handling the money, incidentally, so if you have monies, or wish to negotiate to hand in monies another time (because you SPENT ALL YOUR MONEY ON COCAINE AND HOOKERS, YOU SLEAZE! Naming no names of people called Rhiannon, obviously) then do so to him.

Anyway, on to the Anime:

Hare + Guu
Hale was a happy boy living out his days in the jungle with his mother, but then one day Guu showed up and became a member of their household. Throughout the series he faces many hardships as he tries to keep Guu out of trouble in the jungle.

Clubbed to Death Angel Dokuro-Chan
In the future, a man named Sakura is destined to create the technology for eternal life, which (due to Sakura's lolicon tendencies) freezes all women's aging once they turn twelve. God refuses to allow this, so he sends his angels to the past to kill Sakura before he can do this. But one angel, Dokuro-chan, decides to try to change the future without killing him. Problem is, Dokuro is very temperamental, and is constantly killing Sakura (and lots of other people too) in incredibly bloody ways with her giant spiked club. Good thing she can bring people back to life - if only to grusomely kill them again the next time she loses her temper.

This time, also, I promise to post this message upon our News Blog at www.lumaslancaster.webs.com/apps/blog - who knows, if the news feed weren't broken, you might even be able to subscribe to that, too.

Incidentally, this coming term, we will be making a fresh start on the continuation anime (which is worrying, since I have no idea what we'll be showing) and will also be electing our New Exec - do consider running for something, since pretty much all the exec apart from Dan are running for either new positions or their old ones (some for the same position O_O), so feel free to join the fray. Except for the role of President. That is... broken, and will not be available. Yeah >_> , <_<.

With that, see you all on Wednesday!

The Beginning of a New Start

Posted by lumaslancaster at 06:23 PM on March 02, 2009 Comments comments (0)

Hi diddly ho, mangarinos!

Recently I has got me thinking some.

This thinking was instigated by a perusal of our Facebook group which, as it stands, is updated whenever an exec member suddenly remembers we have one, and is admin'd by a guy who already does so much for LUMAS as it is (I.E - teaching me and Chris how to not break the projector while Dan's away). Our email address gets, aside from about 25 spam a day, very little mail aside from the occasional one in Japanese, or a member answering a random question in the update email, and we (read: our glorious Librarian) have updated our website recently for the umpteenth time, with a NEWS BLOG that every so often contains news.

This bewildering array of details can get a little confusing, so for the record, HERE IS HOW TO CONTACT US:

Society Email Account: lumas@lancaster.ac.uk
Facebook Group: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=2252913615&ref=ts
Website: http://lumaslancaster.webs.com
Manga Library Email: messy_hair_welcome@msn.com (for the time being)

Keep this stuff in your box of internet, and if you want to get in touch with us, this is how to do so.

On the same note, in future i'll be posting the weekly update email content on the website blog after it goes out, because I know some people aren't getting them. Who aren't reading this. So they can't follow that last bit of info. Yeah.

Speaking of which, a quick shout out to people whose queries slipped through the grid:

**Alice Rees - I'm glad you like these emails, i'm afraid it is a little too late to come to NotACon (its horrible death having taken place last year), but if we pull ourselves together to ever run another one, everyone is welcome to come.

**Aleksandra Wojtas - Sure, you can come along to any meeting you like, Wednesdays would be best for those who didn't get a chance to vote on the Continuation stuff, since the middle of Guuren Lagaan if you haven't seen the beginning is even more loud and confusing than the rest of it. Somehow.

Unless plans explode, we shall be showing all 13 episodes of Antique Bakery Saturday week 9, so that would be the perfect opportunity to come along, too.

But seriously folks, we'll make more of an effort next term to lure in some of you lovely folks who signed up, and if you want us to do something else, i'm sure we'll get around to putting out an email of contact details at some point.

**Random Japanese person who emailed us about MY SUBMISSION - ...thanks?

Lastly, it's our Librarian Kirsten's birthday on Wednesday - if you have any spare Bishies lying around, i'm sure she'll appreciate them.

Toodle-pip

Secretary Rob
